Kenny Chesney is gearing up to unveil his latest album, BORN, slated for release next month as he continues to drop single after single to be featured on the forthcoming project. The most recent track titled "Thinkin' Bout," released on Friday, February 23rd, stands out as the third single off the long-awaited record.
BORN will be the country hitmaker's first album release since 2020's Here And Now. Previous singles released in anticipation of the record include "Take Her Home," "Just To Say We Did," and now, "Thinkin' Bout," setting the scene for a year full of brand new bold and breezy tunes in true Kenny Chesney fashion. Chesney took to Instagram to zoom in on one new song in particular, stating that he wrote it for fans who are "struggling with moving on."
"I love this song because it gets into that space where you’re thinking about knowing you shouldn’t think about that person, and that’s when maybe the letting go can really start to happen. For anyone struggling with moving on, “Thinkin’ Bout” is for you."
As if releasing an entire album wasn't epic enough, the "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" artist plans to embark on his SUN GOES DOWN 2024 TOUR beginning in Tampa, Florida on April 20th. The tour, featuring special guests Zac Brown Band, Uncle Kracker, and Megan Moroney, will encompass a career-spanning setlist of old and new hits. The tour is slated to continue through the summer and conclude on August 23rd in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
