The "Tribute in Light" which is the memorial in NYC to honor the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, almost did not happen this year. There was a discussion on the safety, due to COVID-19, for the team of people who come together to orchestrate the two twin beams of light.
In the end, the CEO of the 9/11 Memorial said they would be able to stage the tribute safely, so the beams of light will be on.
