Erin Andrews has nothing but good things to say in her first public statement since getting canned as a co-host on Dancing With the Stars. “Thank you ABC and the entire Dancing With the Stars family for six memorable seasons,” the 42-year-old Andrews tweeted Tuesday. “Those years wouldn’t have been as special without my loving host Tom Bergeron, the talented dancers and witty judges.” She ended her post by telling her followers, "I will always cherish my days on that set, even if I wasn’t the best at walking in heels.” Andrews' statement came the same day ABC announced that Tyra Banks will be taking over DWTS hosting duties. Co-host Tom Bergeron had previously said about his ouster in his own statement, "It's been an incredible 15-year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I'm grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made."
