Just call him Jude Lawless! Variety reports that Jude Law is in talks to play the big, bad Captain Hook in an upcoming live-action version of Disney'sPeter Pan. The new remake, titledPeter Pan and Wendy,will be helmed by director David Lowery, who previously directed the critically acclaimedAin't Them Bodies SaintsandThe Old Man and the Gun. There's no other casting news so far for the project, which is expected to be released theatrically instead of on the Disney+ streaming service. Hopefully, Peter Pan and Wendy will fare better at the box office than 1991'sHookand 2015'sPan--two other live-actionPeterPanremakes that both flopped in theaters.
