Florida Man Wades Into Lake to Get Frisbees, Gets Bit in Face by Alligator

At around 5 a.m. on Friday, Travis Spitzer was fishing for frisbees while wading around Florida's Taylor Lake, which sits in the middle of a popular disc-golf course, when an alligator emerged from the water and bit him in the face. “Supposedly he was in the water up to his waist and he was looking for Frisbees when the gator took notice of him,”Lieutenant Scott Gore of the Largo Police Department tells The Tampa Bay Times. Spitzer was able to pry the animal off his face with his left hand and is expected to survive the bite after suffering injuries to his hand and face.
