CMA Announces New TV and Livestream Concert Events for July

The CMA announced a couple of new concert events for the beginning of July on Monday, in part to replace the CMA Fan Fest that was canceled over the coronavirus,Rolling Stonereports. The organization will put on theCMA Best of Festas a three-hour television special for ABC, and will also put on aCMA Summer Stay-Caylivestream event. Luke Bryan will host theBest of Festspecial, a look back at some of the biggest moments from the event since the early 2000s. It will feature Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, and Carrie Underwood, as well as guests like Peyton Manning, Lionel Richie, Gwen Stefani, Michael Strahan, and others. The event will be televised on July 9. A week earlier on July 1, CMA will also present the livestream variety eventCMA Summer Stay-Cay,hosted by Jimmie Allen and Lindsay Ell. The event will be streamed on CMA's YouTube or Facebook pages, and over 50 artists are expected to be featured. CMA Fest will return for its 49th year June 10th through 13th, 2021, in downtown Nashville.
