Alleged "queen of nice" Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly having a hard time with all the recently surfaced rumors that she's a secret mean girl. “Ellen is at the end of her rope,” a source tells Us Weekly. “She thought this was all just sour grapes from a few haters. But it’s not a passing thing--the hits just keep coming.” Over the past couple months, a viral Twitter thread recounted regular folks' nasty run-ins with the talk-show host. She's also been slammed for complaining that being stuck in her mansion during quarantine was like being in prison and for allegedly not paying furloughed staff on her show. But wait, there's more! A former bodyguard called her "sly" and "demeaning," while YouTuber NikkieTutorials called DeGeneres "cold and distant" after her Ellen appearance earlier this year. However, a second source insists the trash-talking won't get Ellen down. “It'll take a lot more than a bodyguard and a blogger to change how people feel about her,” the insider says “Her best response is just being happy Ellen on the show every day.”
