On Sunday, model and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen made her Twitter account private after celeb chef Alison Roman dissed her in a Q&A with an online magazine this past Friday. “What Chrissy Teigen has done is so crazy to me...It’s just, like, people running a content farm for her. That horrifies me," Roman had said about Teigen's Cravings platform. Teigen responded by tweeting later that day, "This is a huge bummer and hit me hard...I genuinely loved everything about Alison." Teigen then said over the weekend that she's received backlash from trolls. “I really hate what this drama has caused this week,” she said. “Calling my kids Petri dish babies or making up flight manifests with my name on them to 'Epstein Island,'... seems gross to me so I’m gonna take a little break." This isn't the first time Teigen went private on Twitter; she went dark for a time in 2016 and 2017.
