The Korean Baseball Organization officially kicked off its 2020 season yesterday and the ceremonial first pitch was memorable. They had a young boy deliver the first pitch from inside a large, clear balloon.
deliver the first pitch from inside a large, clear balloon. It was a bubble boy first pitch. He, obviously, didn’t throw or hand the catcher anything. Instead, he walked towards the catcher inside the bubble in what was called a “socially distant first pitch.”
