Hunter Hayes Eliminated On "The Masked Singer"

On Wednesday's episode of The Masked Singer, celeb panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke were joined by guest Gordon Ramsay, to watch the remaining six contestants, Kitty, The Astronaut, The Frog, The Night Angel, The Rhino and The Turtle battle to remain on the show. Kitty did her best Marilyn Monroe imitation with "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend," before Rhino sang Thomas Rhett's "Die a Happy Man." After the Frog sang Imagine Dragons' "Whatever It Takes,", Night Angel had one of the better performances of the night, belting out "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles. The Astronaut and Turtle then concluded, before The Astronaut was chosen to be unmasked. He turned out to be country singer Hunter Hayes, which only Scherzinger had guessed correctly. "This time in my life is a great chance for me to sort of hit a reset button and to try a bunch of things that I was scared of, and this show's full of those," Hayes said, calling the show "an unbelievable experience."
