Lori Loughlin's Attorneys May Get The Judge To Toss College Scandal Case

Lori Loughlin could be one step closer to having her college admissions case thrown out. The federal judge presiding over the scandal called allegations investigators pressured their star witness to entrap parents “serious and disturbing.”

According toNBC News, the defense team cited notes from government star witness William “Rick” Singer in which he claims investigators told him to “bend the truth” and “tell a fib” in order to “retrieve responses that are not accurate.” Rick Singer is the mastermind behind the swindle, wore a wire to record the parents.

Loughlin and her fashion designer husband,MossimoGiannulli, allegedly paid $500,000 to get their two daughters,OliviaJadeandIsabellaRose, into the University of Southern California as crew recruits.

Attorneys for the couple and other defendants are now looking for the judge to toss the case.
