Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress Jennifer Stone is joining the fight against COVID-19 as a registered nurse.
Since the show ended in 2012, Stone, who played Harper Finkle, has divided her time between nursing school and the occasional role in indie films. The 27-year-old graduated from nursing school this past December.
Stone says she hopes to "live up to all the amazing healthcare providers on the front lines." She notes that she’s “ready to join” her fellow healthcare heroes the front lines fighting coronavirus.
