Vanessa Bryant Calls Kobe's Hall of Fame Induction "Peak of His Career"

Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett are just some of the marquee stars who will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame this year. The class of 2020, announced this past Saturday, also includes 10-time WNBA All-Star Tamika Catchings, Baylor University women's coach Kim Mulkey, four-time NCAA men's coach of the year Eddie Sutton, and former Houston Rockets coach Rudy Tomjanovich. The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place August 29 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Meanwhile, Kobe's widow, Vanessa Bryant, told ESPN after his name was announced, "It is an incredible accomplishment and honor. We are extremely proud of him. Obviously, we wish he was here with us to celebrate. This is definitely the peak of his NBA career and every accomplishment that he had as an athlete was a stepping stone to be here."
