CMT has announced that actress, singer and songwriter Rita Wilson will host the upcoming CMT GIANTS Kenny Rogers: A Benefit for MusiCares.
The special, set to air Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on CMT, will celebrate the life and music of The Gambler through stories and songs from Kenny's peers and friends. The lineup includes Dolly Parton, Gavin DeGraw, Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires, Jennifer Nettles, Lady Antebellum, Lionel Richie, Michael McDonald, Randy Houser, Rascal Flatts, Vince Gill, songwriter Don Schlitz ("The Gambler") and collaborator Kim Carnes ("Don't Fall in Love With a Dreamer"). Members of Kenny's band and crew will also appear.
