New details are being released about the injury suffered by Hoosier NASCAR driver Ryan Newman.
His car crashed in the last lap of the Daytona 500, causing him to be taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Newman released a statement yesterday saying he had suffered a head injury, but did not have any organ damage or broken bones in the crash.
It is not clear when Newman will return to racing.
