Noel Schoessow is a father of two ā who spent more than a year of his life confined to a hospital bed when he was a kid. He remembers how difficult that was for him and his family, so he founded a charity effort in hopes of soothing parents who have babies in a neo-natal intensive care unit in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Noelās charity ā called āThe Bear Hug Projectā ā raises thousands of dollars each year and purchases stuffed animals for the hospitalized children.
He admits that itās a small gesture. The stuffed animals donāt solve any problems, but they do bring smiles. And in those difficult times, having a smile gives people much needed strength.
