Woman Spends Time Knitting Scarves For Those in Need

Two years ago, Jeannie Waltz of Los Altos, California, was looking for a new way to occupy her time in her senior community, so she started knitting scarves.

This new mission became a big part of her life. Every day now, for eight hours a day, she puts needle to yarn, doing her part to help those who need it most.

Jeannie knits and knits – and then donates each scarf to a charity group that delivers her gift to a homeless person.

Her consistency is remarkable. Even if she plays bingo and loses an hour of knitting, she goes back to work and makes up for it.

Jeannie enjoys putting her skills to good use and helping others, while showing that you don’t need a lot to give a lot.
