Maintenance Worker Saves Man's Life

Maintenance Worker Saves Man's Life

Vincent Seals works for the Bay Area Rapid Transit system, cleaning trains at the end of the line at a station near San Francisco.

Last Monday, Vincent was supposed to have the day off, but decided to pick up an extra shift -- which ended up being more action-packed than he expected.

While Vincent was working, he heard a co-worker calling for help because a 20-year-old passenger was slumped over in his seat and not responding.

Vincent ran to the train car and immediately placed the unresponsive man on the floor and started performing CPR.

Amazingly, Vincent was able to revive the passenger before paramedics showed up and took the man to the hospital.

It was good luck all around as Vincent had learned CPR at a previous job -- and wasn’t even supposed to be there that day. He just happened to be at the right place at the right time … and saved a man’s life.
