While fashion is getting more inclusive, it’s still rare to see people with disabilities rocking the runway. That won’t be the case in Houston this weekend. On Saturday, October 20th, the John Fair III Spinal Cord Injury Foundation is hosting the Stroll and Roll Halloween fashion show for kids with disabilities.
The models will be dressed in Halloween costumes designed by students at the Houston Art Institute. Not only will the kids get awesome costumes tailored for them, which are impossible to find off the rack, but they will also get the chance to be the center of attention and see other kids with disabilities in the spotlight for a change.
