J.J. WATT QUIETLY DONATES $10K TO FAMILY OF FALLEN FIREMAN

During his stellar seven-year career in the NFL, Houston Texans star J.J. Watt has been known as much for what he does off the field as what he does on it.

His generosity for people in need has been well documented and highly publicized, but not all of it.

It turns out the star defensive end quietly donated $10,000 to the family of a Wisconsin firefighter named Corey Barr who was killed last week in a natural gas explosion.

A GoFundMe page was set up for the family with the goal of reaching $15,000. Watt, who is a Wisconsin native, heard about it through Twitter and decided to make the generous donation and didn't tell anyone about it.

It wasn't until some visitors to the page noticed the large sum that word got out, and now the family wants everyone to know. The campaign has now raised more than $120,000.
