Life is anything but sweet for a group of Florida parents who sent their kids into sugar shock -- by accidentally tossing a massive ball of marshmallow from a helicopter and splattering it on a baseball field.
The large group of five and six-year-olds ran to the sporting complex on Easter Sunday for the annual event, in which thousands of individual treats were supposed to float to the ground. But the 6,000 marshmallows pitched from the sky stuck together, landing with a thud among the screaming tots.
One of the organizers said "I guess there was some moisture or humidity (that) got in there. We are regretful there could have been the possibility of the children being struck, but luckily no injuries were reported."
Guess we should all be grateful that no bunny was harmed in the Easter disaster.
