FBI Now Has Phone Purchased by Brian Laundrie in North Port on Sept. 4th

The attorney for the Laundrie family, Steven Bertolino has said that the phone was purchased on September 4th at an AT&T store in North Port.

The attorney also says that Brian left that phone at home the day he went for a hike in the Carlton Reserve 10 days later.

The FBI now has the phone.

FBI agents visited that AT&T store in North Port, FL -- and seized surveillance footage.

The phone was purchased on September 4th, three days after Laundrie returned to his home in North Port from a cross-country trip.

When Bran returned home, some reports suggest he went to Fort De Soto Park from September 6th through the 8th. Gabby Petito's family reported her missing days later on September 11th.

The timing is significant because September 14th is the date Laundrie's parents say they last saw him leaving their home. They say he had his backpack and was going to a Carlton nature reserve, but never returned.

His parents reported him missing September 17th.
