Massachusetts Cashier Helps Elderly Military Veteran Pay for Groceries
Brian Poirier is a supermarket cashier in Oxford, near Worchester, Massachusetts. He helped cover the bill for a veteran who was a few dollars short.

Briar Poirier, who has worked at the Market Basket in Oxford , MA for eight years, describes himself on his Facebook page as an autistic man who loves music, knowledge, video gaming and compassion.
Renee Falcioni, an emergency room nurse and frequent Market Basket customer, witnessed Poirier’s compassion when she was shopping at the store and saw Poirier pay for the veteran’s grocery bill.
