Venice Woman Captures Pictures of Large Gator with a Big Snook it it's Mouth
Robin Austin of Venice was visiting Myakka State Park When she Captured Pictures of a Very Large Gator Eating a large snook at the Myakka River State Park.
Robin Austin posted photos of the gator enjoying its lunch on her Facebook page, this past Sunday afternoon (1/30/22). Robin said she spotted the gator from the park’s main bridge.
Robin estimates, the alligator was around 10 to 12 feet long. The fish, which appears to be la snook, was around 36 to 40 inches long.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission say that snook, can typically grow up to 48 inches,
