Manatee Sheriff Offering $8,000 Reward In 2014 Bradenton Cold Case Murder
Manatee County Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking for the person who shot, killed Samuel Campos Conde, known as “Spanky,” an SUR 13 gang member on Dec. 20, 2014.
The Gold Star Club of Manatee County & CrimeStoppers of Manatee County, Inc. are offering up to $8,000 for info leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Samuel Conde on 12/20/14. (CrimeStoppers reward - $3,000, Gold Star reward - $5,000)

In the early hours of December 20th, 2014 numerous individuals gathered at 3704 9th Street East, Bradenton. It was known that this location was a place to illegally buy beer after area bars had closed for business. Among those at this location drinking, was Samuel Conde. Witnesses later told detectives that an altercation between rival gang members occurred, and an unknown person shot and killed Samuel Conde.
Samuel Conde was known to law enforcement as a SUR 13 member and it’s believed that the person who shot Conde was a member of a rival area street gang. Due to the nature of the murder, witnesses remained tight lipped as to what occurred, and never did provide information about why Conde was shot.
In the days following the homicide, detectives obtained few leads and have been unable to move forward with the investigation due to a lack of help from the community.
Since this Murder, Samuel’s older brother Gabriel was also Murdered in a gang related shooting. That 2018 case was later solved and an arrest was made. The two shootings are not related.
