VEHICLE BURGLARY TREND: Vehicle burglaries continue to be the most frequently committed crime in Manatee County. The overwhelming majority of these burglaries happen to UNLOCKED vehicles. Please make it a habit to remove your valuables and car keys, and lock your cars each time you exit.
Just this week, multiple neighborhoods experienced unlocked vehicle burglaries.
Other reminders also include, never leave your "key fab or keys" or your "garage door openers" in an unlocked vehicle..
