Fort Myers Woman Finds a 7-foot Alligator in Her Garage
Torrie Heathcoat in Fort Myers said that even though her garage door was open for just ten minutes, a seven-foot-long alligator made its way inside. Her husband Andy made a quick run to the gas station. During that short time, they had a visitor checking out their garage.
And check this out.... He was spotting hissing by the door that leads into her home.
Torrie then called 911 and posted a photo of the scene to Facebook while waiting for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to respond.
The FWC says the gator was safely relocated to a suitable habitat in North Fort Myers.
