Florida Governor Ron DeSantis say the Idea of Travel Restrictions in Florida is Absurd and Promised the State Would Fight Back
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis responded yesterday (2/11/21) to a report that says the Federal Government is considering travel restrictions on Floridians.
According to the CDC the decision to is consider whether to impose restrictions, would be to target new COVID-19 variants.
The Governor yesterday called the idea of travel restrictions “absurd and promised that the state would fight back".
“It would be unconstitutional, it would be unwise, and it would be unjust,” Governor DeSantis said.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio has sent a letter to President Biden saying that travel restrictions on Florida would be “reckless and economically harmful.”
