Manatee County Commissioners at this morning's meeting, (4/21/20) voted to lift the curfew that, the County had put in place for 2 weeks, to protect first responders, healthcare workers and the general public during the coronavirus outbreak.
County commissioners voted 4-3 to lift the local curfew related to COVID-19 but they also urged Manatee County residents to continue heeding CDC recommendations for social distancing.

Manatee County Commissioners also discussed the beaches that are currently closed. They said they are not ready to re-open them. at this time. As they await further guidance from healthcare officials and the state.
