Florida Power and Light said it will suspend service cut-offs over overdue bills as Florida continues to suffer from the economy shutting down during the coronavirus panidemic.
FPL says on it's website....
\We have also implemented the same policies that we do during major crisis events and are suspending electrical disconnections, providing payment extensions and waiving certain late payment fees for customers in a hardship situation – policies that will remain in effect while Florida is under a state of emergency. However, we ask that you try to continue to pay your bills as much as you can, to avoid building up a large balance which may be difficult to pay off later.
