Wreaths Across America, Wreath Laying at Sarasota National Cemetery - is Saturday, Dec. 16th
In 2012 I became involved in a mission which I will be a part of every November for the rest of my life. As I visited my Dad during his first holiday season at our Sarasota National Cemetery in 2011... I noticed beautiful wreaths on some, but NOT all headstones. I was informed the Wreaths Across America program is a national program, that is funded 100% by local donations for each National Cemetery.
Please consider sponsoring at least one wreath (at link below), so EVERY local HERO has a wreath on their headstone, when they are placed Saturday December 16, 2017 (9:30 am) at our Sarasota National Cemetery.

On behalf of over 32,000 Veterans, spouses and qualified dependents lying at rest at Sarasota National Cemetery, we wish to thank you for supporting our Mission to Remember our Fallen, Honor our Active Duty Military and Veterans and Teach younger generations the value of freedoms.
Our goal for 2023 is 23,000 Veterans Wreaths to Remember and Honor them all. 1 Wreath sponsorship is $17, 3 wreaths are delivered for two wreaths sponsored at just $34.

Please keep in mind... due to lack of parking on the Cemetery grounds, to participate in the wreath laying you MUST Pre-register for a Parking Pass.
