Hernando DeSoto Children's Parade - is Back, Friday, April 15th in Palmetto
The Hernando De Soto Children’s Parade features the creations of our local Elementary Schools and youngest citizens. The average attendance to the Children’s Parade & Party in the Park is 3,000 people.
The kids are in charge of their own parade down the historic streets of Palmetto, FL.
This year’s theme is Dive Into Reading so the kids will build the best float and costumes to emulate their favorite book, author, or book character. We encourage Floats to portray the History, Heritage and Heart of the Society.
