Blake Shelton's team members in the battle round on The Voice

This battle stirred up controversy on Twitter last night! Team Blake’s Pryor Baird and Kaleb Lee started things off with a Battle Round cover of Tom Petty’s “Don’t Do Me Like That.”  Coach Kelly Clarkson stole Kaleb after Blake decided to keep Pryor. Some viewers criticized the performance. Tweets criticizing the battle included, “It’s cruel to give someone a Tom Petty song. No way to even come close,” and “I’m watching #TheVoice for the first time and they are murdering poor Tom Petty (peace be upon him).”
