South Florida Lawmaker Files Bill To Curb Hate-Crimes

With anti-Semitic attacks on the rise, a South Florida lawmaker files a bill to stop hate crimes. Republican State Representative Mike Caruso's bill would make it a third-degree felony to project hateful images onto private property, to harass someone based on their religious attire or deface a place of worship. In just the past two weeks, two men in masks were nabbed projecting a swastika and other hateful messages onto the A-T-and-T building in downtown West Palm. Antisemtic flyers have been thrown in front of Jewish homes in Boca Raton, Weston and Miami Beach.
