Gossip about Katy Perry's pregnancy is "never really over," but now the pop star is refuting the rumor that she's chosen longtime pal Jennifer Aniston to be the godmother to her future daughter with fiancé Orlando Bloom. On Monday, the 35-yer-old Perry claimed it was Aniston who alerted her to the rumor by phone. “She texted us because we are friendly with her, and Orlando is one of her good friends,” Perry said on an Australian radio show. “We were like, ‘Wow, this is a wild rumor.' I mean, God knows with her, she’s had everything said about her. But I guess this is a fun rumor. But no, we have no idea where it came from.” Earlier this month, a UK outlet claimed that Aniston had shed tears when Perry and Bloom asked her to take on the honorary role. Aniston is already a godmother to Courteney Cox's 16-year-old daughter Coco and a future stepmom to Bloom's 9-year-old son, Flynn, who he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
