Peter and Weber and Madison Prewett have called off their romance just one day after announcing they were together on the season finale of The Bachelor."Madi and I have mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further," the 28-year-old Weber wrote late Thursday on Instagram. "After a lot of honest conversations, we have agreed that this is what makes most sense for the two of us. The love and respect I have for Madi will continue to endure." Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Prewett wrote on her own IG, "As Peter and I have decided to go our separate ways, I am confident that we will both move in the direction of our purpose and never forget that God has a plan in all things. I will always love and respect him. I am convinced our paths were meant to cross and we are both better because they did." Weber originally proposed to contestant Hannah Ann Sluss; however, a month later, he admitted was "struggling" to get over his feelings for Prewett. On Tuesday's live finale, host Chris Harrison revealed he'd gone to Alabama to retrieve Prewett for Weber. While even Weber's mom was vocally against their relationship, Prewett said on the broadcast, "This is about me and Peter, this is about our journey."
