Dwayne Johnson's Daughter Simone Wants to Carry on Family's WWE Legacy

Dwayne Johnson's 18-year-old daughter has started training to become a professional wrestler at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Simone Johnson's following in the footsteps of not only her dad, but also a couple of WWE Hall of Famers: her grandfather, Rocky Johnson, and great-grandfather, Peter Maivia.Entertainment Tonight reports that Simone, who is the daughter of The Rock and his first wife Dany Garcia, posted on Instagram, "To the little girl who fell in love with wrestling and said 'this will be my life one day,' this is for you. I’m humbled, grateful and ready to work. Let’s do this." She added in a press release, "It means the world to me to know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle, but to carry on that legacy." The moment must be especially touching for her dad after Rocky Johnson passed away last month at age 75. His funeral was held last Friday.
