Two Mississippi men were not successful in their allegedly fraudulent attempt to win a 100-thousand-dollar lottery prize.
Police in Flowood say they arrested 47-year-old Odis Latham and 48-year-old Russell Sparks after they tried to claim the scratch-off winnings at the state lottery headquarters.
The ticket they offered is said to be a losing ticket which had the winning numbers glued onto it.
Both have been charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and uttering a counterfeit instrument over one-thousand dollars.
