Homecoming queen candidates ditch heels to support for epileptic classmate

In Johnston, South Carolina, a group of high school students competing for homecoming queen decided to take off their high heeled shoes in order to support a fellow contender.

That contender, Nataleigh Deal, has epilepsy and Down syndrome, which makes it difficult for her to wear heels.

So instead of having Nataleigh be the only contestant without fancy shoes, every single girl on the homecoming court took their shoes off during a ceremony at the homecoming football game.

The night only got better for Nataleigh when she was officially crowned homecoming queen in front of her classmates.
