Homeless Army Veteran gets New Car from Businessman

A homeless veteran in New Orleans was surprised to get a new car from a millionaire in Michigan who traveled 1,000 miles to hand him the keys.

Horace Scott served in the U.S. Army from 1979 to 1982 and has been struggling to save enough money to move into his own apartment. Michigan businessman Bill Pulte learned about Horace and wanted to make a difference, so he gave Horace the car to help him get to his two jobs.

It was a huge relief for Horace, who admits he was “totally shocked” to receive the donation.

But, it was just another day at the office for Bill, who is on a mission to cut out the middle man in the charity world and is using his Twitter following to inspire the average American to help those in need.
