Ashley Harrison of Stuart, Florida, had an eventful year in 2018. She gave birth to a baby boy in November – and also has been living in a homeless shelter. But things definitely turned around for her around Christmastime when a local couple gave her an SUV to help her get back on her feet.
Mary Nash and Joseph Zingo heard Ashley’s story and discovered that she could use some help.
So, they decided to give her their 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe – and actually delivered it to her with a red bow on the hood.
While Mary said she didn’t think it was that big of a deal, the donation made a huge impact on Ashley. She will start 2019 with renewed optimism, thanks to the kindness of two strangers.
