Two dogs in the Philippines have developed a special bond, as one has stepped up and become a seeing-eye dog for the other.
When the dogs’ owners rescued Kimchi from a shelter in 2012, she was dealing with some health issues and had failing eyesight. Luckily, Kimchi hit it off with the family dog, Ginger -- and the two became fast friends.
And when Kimchi lost her sight completely in 2015, their relationship became even more special, with Ginger making sure Kimchi was safe, guiding her every step of the way.
Ginger and Kimchi not only enjoy each other's company, they also now provide emotional support at hospitals, schools and companies, inspiring everyone they meet to lend a helping hand whenever possible.
