RETIRED MARINE SAVES DOZENS OF ANIMALS FROM WILDFIRE

As wildfires in Northern California continue to rage, retired Marine Tucker Zimmerman is doing all he can to help by rescuing animals in the area.

Tucker, who’s working with other volunteers to provide a helping hand to strangers and their animals, has already been credited with saving the life of at least one person, as well as dozens of horses and other animals.

He’s taking time away from his job as a tractor equipment salesman to head into evacuation zones to rescue whatever life he can find, loading animals onto a large trailer and driving to them to safe areas until the fires die down.

Those who have met Tucker have been impressed with his energy and skill. And, they’re thankful for his efforts as Tucker isn’t just helping the animals, but also helping people alleviate their stress.
