A sleepy Florida man picked the wrong place and the worst time to catch some Zs.
The unidentified sleepyhead decided to take a nap on a drawbridge in Miami and nearly ended up sleeping with the fishes when the bridge opened up. A woman named Khadija Andrews says she walked across the bridge on her way to a yoga class and passed by the man, who was fast asleep. Moments later she heard the bells alerting cars and pedestrians that the bridge was about to open and turned around to make sure the guy heard the warning.
She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the bridge lifting up and the man hanging onto a railing for dear life. Luckily he had a good grip on it and held on for a few minutes until the bridge closed. He appeared to be unharmed.
