SIX-YEAR-OLD BOY RESCUES HUNDREDS OF DOGS FROM SHELTERS

Even though Roman McConn is just six years old, he's impacting the lives of hundreds of shelter dogs across the country.

Roman, along with his mom, Jennifer, started Project Freedom Ride less than two years ago. The group transports at-risk dogs in Texas to the Northwest to get adopted.

Roman uses social media to post videos of him with adoptable dogs on Facebook -- and people have responded by providing forever homes for the animals.

Amazingly, Roman has saved over 1,000 dogs with his efforts.

But Roman doesn't think it's that big of a deal, explaining that it's all very simple: "We make videos for dogs and we get them adopted."

Luckily for the dogs, the rides continue, with the next transportation of dogs coming up later this month. More dogs arriving means more videos for Roman to make -- and more smiles on the faces of the families adopting those dogs.
