Dierks Bentley helped one military family have a night they will never forget… a reunion, all during his show in Fresno, California, on Saturday (4/29). Before the concert kicked off, Staff Sergeant Steven Mendez’s two sons were hanging out with Dierks during a meet-and-greet backstage when their father came out from behind a curtain and surprised the boys. The emotional sons then hugged and embraced their father, who was returning home after serving 10 months overseas. Later in the night during his headlining set, Dierks invited the family onstage and thanked SSgt. Mendez for his service as well as the family for their sacrifice.
