Heavy Rains in Orlando cause 43 cars to crash in huge rush-hour pileup

A torrential downpour hit Orlando, Florida on Friday, April 15, 2022 in the afternoon, with flash flooding causing 43 cars to slip and slide into a massive pile-up on one of the area's major toll roads.

The rain came during one of the busiest times for Orlando drivers; during the afternoon's rush hour.  

The pile-up closed all lanes for a while and took three hours to clear before every lane was finally reopened.

Thankfully, Only one person was injured and required hospitalization.
